MilkWax-ECO™ - Umber Information
This premium natural food-contact-safe wax creates a durable washable finish with a soft luster. This wax should not be applied over other finishes, and works best over raw wood or milk painted and water or oil-based stained surfaces.

Raw Wood - No prep is required.
Milk-Painted Surfaces - We recommend a light sand for a smooth finish.

Use a clean cotton cloth or wax brush to apply wax in a thin layer, working into recesses of carved details or surface imperfections. Wipe away excess.
Allow it to dry for 3-5 minutes. Buff to a shine with a clean lint-free cotton cloth. This product may be applied directly over dry milk paint, directly on raw wood, or over any of our other wax finishes. Clean brush with soap and warm water or Mineral Spirits.
Wait 5-7 days before light use. Fully cures in 30 days.

- If you use MilkWax-ECO Umber on countertops, we recommend doing in sections, as the cure time is 72 hours.
- Approximate Coverage: 8 oz. covers 100 sq. ft. | 16 oz. covers 200 sq. ft.

Is MilkWax-ECO™ a durable finish?
YES, it is durable and scrubbable. If it’s marred, just lightly sand and add another coat of wax. Refinishing the entire piece is not required.
Can I use MMS MilkWax-ECO™ over other previously treated surfaces?
MilkWax-ECO™ can be used over oil-based stain, water-based stain, or MilkPaint™. It should not be applied over mineral-oil finishes.
